Maureen Costantino has leveraged many years of experience in photography, painting, the graphic arts, and writing to move into the exciting world of three-dimensional ceramic arts, an area she had previously never considered prior to wandering into a community studio. She now holds a Masters degree from the Hood College graduate ceramic arts program in Frederick, MD.

She mostly creates whimsical, one-of-a-kind functional pieces for use in the home but also takes an interest in sculptural forms. Ceramics has become her ongoing palette of choice and vehicle for artistic communication.
